What does a stop cost you?

Estimated savings per year

0€

Machines × stopped hours × cost per hour × 20%. We assume you avoid one stop in five, well below the published research. An estimate, not a promise.

What the research says.

These are published industry figures, not AMR results. Averages are not promises.

Up to 70–75%

fewer breakdowns in the best predictive maintenance programmes, compared with run-to-failure maintenance.

This is a best case from an older US government guide. Typical results are lower: McKinsey reports 30–50% less machine downtime.

How AMR turns signals into planned repairs

  1. Listen

Sound and vibration show wear and imbalance early.

  2. Check

Surface heat confirms friction and overheating.

  3. Act

The platform explains the likely cause and produces a work order, so a sudden failure becomes a planned repair.

11%

Unplanned downtime costs the 500 largest companies $1.4 trillion a year, about 11% of revenue.

Siemens 2024The True Cost of Downtime

$125,000

One hour of unplanned downtime costs $125,000 on average.

ABB 2023Unplanned downtime survey

5–15%

Facility downtime falls 5–15% and labour productivity rises 5–20%.

Deloitte 2022Predictive maintenance perspective

30–50%

Predictive maintenance typically cuts machine downtime 30–50% and extends machine life 20–40%.

The numbers your team will track.

AMR calculates the maintenance figures that matter and shows each one next to the machine it comes from.

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

FormulaOEE = Availability × Performance × Quality

Helps you Shows how much of your planned production time actually produces good parts. It is the single best score to compare lines and shifts.

Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)

FormulaMTBF = running time ÷ number of failures

Helps you Shows how long a machine runs between breakdowns. A falling MTBF tells you a machine is wearing out, before it becomes a habit.

Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)

FormulaMTTR = total repair time ÷ number of repairs

Helps you Shows how long each repair takes. Use it to see if spare parts, tools or training are slowing your team down.

Unplanned Downtime

FormulaUnplanned downtime % = unplanned stop hours ÷ scheduled hours × 100

Helps you Shows the share of scheduled time lost to surprise stops. This is the number AMR is built to bring down, and the one that sets your savings.

Planned Maintenance Percentage (PMP)

FormulaPMP = planned maintenance hours ÷ all maintenance hours × 100

Helps you Shows how much of your maintenance is planned rather than emergency work. A higher PMP means fewer night calls and cheaper repairs.

Equipment Availability

FormulaAvailability = (scheduled time − stopped time) ÷ scheduled time × 100

Helps you Shows how often a machine is ready to run when you need it. It tells you which machines to fix first.
